Lychakivsky Cemetery

Part of any tailored city break to Lvov (Lviv) with Olyanna Travel must include a visit to the extraordinary cemetery of Lychakivsky.

Lvov was once called a city of cemeteries and monks. Perhaps visiting final places of rest is not high on most tourists itineries - but to miss this place would be a pity for it is quite unique and is a testament to the ebb and flow of people who have lived here. Inscriptions are in Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and Austrian.
